BOZE Teammate Denise Now in Wales!

2007 BOZE Half Hour Swim

Kate McIvor, Denise DeLuca & Elizabeth Gilje celebrating their 3-2-1 finish in the 2007 BOZE Half Hour Swim!

Hi Everybody!!

We’ve landed in Wales! We are living in a series of one-week temporary rental houses until we move into a more long-term rental staring Sept 4th.

In the meantime, I wanted to let you know that I lost access to all emails sent to denise_deluca@msn.com and denise@biomimicryinstitute.org , have no internet access at home, and have no cell phone — thus I haven’t communicated much with anyone in the US.

We are slowly figuring things out (tho it is much more of a circus than we thought it would be), but we are really looking forward to getting settled.

The weather here is as you might expect — mostly cloudy and rainy — but never too hot and when it is sunny, it is gorgeous.

I swam at the local swim center once — it’s pretty expensive and has very limited lap swim hours so I’m afraid I’m going to have to find another sport! In the meantime I’m getting really out of shape, but at least enjoying walking a lot.

I’d love to hear from you all! I miss you!

~Denise
